Spruce Pine, NC has some world class eating. The Knife & Fork has been making major news lately with their winning in the WNC Chef’s Challenge. This Saturday July 16th they will celebrate 2 years of awesome farm to table scrumptiousness by hosting a ASAP benefit.

July 16th from 4-9 Knife and Fork will close off the street in front of the restaurant and have some of their favorite farmer’s set up with food for sale. There will be live music from Polly & The Posse and beer from Dry County Brewing. Dinner will be served inside Knife & Fork. Tickets are $30. All proceeds go straight to ASAPthe Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project (more commonly known as ASAP). ASAP’s mission is to help local farms thrive, link farmers to markets and supporters, and build healthy communities through connections to local food. Ask any farmer you know and they’ll tell you what a great and helpful organization ASAP is.

If you have any questions or to make reservations, please call Knife & Fork 828-765-1511.

Come help the Knife and Fork team celebrate a wonderful two years of business!

Earlier in the day drop by Spruce Pine’s Riverside Park for the Annual Toe River Storytelling festival.
